Girl scout cookie orders are still going. We get our cookies in… hopefully on Valentines Day… YUM! (you can either mail me a check or paypal me the money)

The dd is participating in her annual fundraiser at school… where they run laps around the school and get pledges. If anyone would like to sponsor K for this, email me. (I take Paypal ;))

And I am so happy we finally got a new modem yesterday… I can upload posts with links in them again!!!

Our dd’s psychiatrist told us to request an IEP to be done… so today I took it in. No problem at all what so ever. They didn’t even make a face at me. The principle said she would get it to the appropriate person and as I was leaving, she left the office with letter in hand.

I went to have lunch with K and talked to her teacher for a minute. She is glad to hear that we had that appointment… and she didn’t have a problem with the IEP either. I keep hearing how horrible it is to get them done and how you have to fight to get them done. So far, we haven’t had a problem! K was just glowing having me with her at lunch.

First appointment with the therapist is Thursday.

So dh was doing better after being sick Wed-Fri and I thought he was over it… and it started back again today. Then tonight dd started complaining about her tummy hurting. We are all running low grade temps… I figured mine was from the ear infection… but I have been on antibiotics for almost a week, wouldn’t it be getting better yet?? I have just felt ICK all weekend. I know I was running a temp, but I had to go get Sprite for upset tummies… so I made a trek to Wally World. Guess we will see how tomorrow morning goes. DD goes to the dentist tomorrow and Ken and I are both back in on Wednesday!

Found out today that dh is having problems with his computer uploading files as well… so it does look like it is the modem and not my computer… so we will be checking into getting a new modem for our DSL on Monday!!

I tried to upload more pictures of the kittens… but I keep getting an error message that says the page contains no Data… which is what it tells me when I try to upload a link here or to my MSN forum… it just won’t let me… so I am guessing I need to reformat the computer… unless dh has the same problem… and then it is a modem or network problem. Going to have to see how he does uploading anything

Today was dd’s first appointment with the child psychiatrist… but I think I am going to put this over at Better Me

When my Mom was here last weekend… she bought K and I both a Knifty Knitter. I actually made a hat today. Pictures will be up at Crafty Crayons when I get it finished… it needs a pom-pom per the dd.

I couldn’t get the last entry to post… I took out the link to Better Me and it posted… so whatever is going on with the computer, I guess I can post as long as I don’t have any links!

So yesterday I went to the eye doctor
I got contacts. I had told him I was interested in them, but the last time I could never get an Rx that worked. I kept having a hard time with the left eye. Well, yesterday I think I found out the problem. The last time they put me in Toric lenses for both eyes… Turns out, I only need Toric in the right eye! So, I got a regular lense for the left eye.

My problem… every time I tried to put it in, I ran into problems… it kept folding in half when I would blink and spit out of my eye. When I finally get it in, it does really good for awhile. When it is time to take it out, I can’t find the contact… turns out it is hidden under my eyelid… all folded up. I went back and found out that isn’t normal and they gave me a new one. I thought I was just doing something wrong.

My computer won’t let me post… It won’t let me do anything on any website that I have to click a ’submit’ button… including posting here… but I thought I would try a short one!

Wow… it worked. I had a nice long post on Sunday… at the BEGINNING of the playoff game. I will try more later… but know I am here, even if my mouth is killing me… another trip to the dentist tomorrow…
