although with my breathing since last week, I was beginning to wonder. The weirdest part is, I definitley have Broncitis, but my asthma has not been a factor… other than the weird wheezing sound that I have been making, but it is totally from secretions, not that I am tight. I have been having such a horrible cough… I had to do the prescription cough medicine. I tired to go last night without it (just the over the counter stuff… by the way, sugar free is even more nasty tasting!!!!) and at 3 am, I was coughing so bad, I even woke Ken up. I have about 1 dose left, so I called for a refill, and of course the doctor didn’t call it in today… so I am SOOOO glad I didn’t take that last dose this afternoon!!!
I am finally feeling a little better today. I started on an antibiotic on Saturday, but it wasn’t the one the doctor ordered (she wouldn’t give me the one I wanted), but since I wasn’t getting better, I finally filled the Rx she gave me yesterday. Today I am feeling a little better…. other than still having the cough.
I saw the neurologist today… but wrote that over at Better Me… My legs are giving me fits tonight from the EMG today though.
I am leaving Friday for the graduation rounds. 2 in Phoenix, and 1 in Texas.
My niece H will be 18 on Sunday,
and although she is the oldest, she is graduating last… thus the reason Texas is the end of the trip.
TJ gets to graduate the day before his 18th birthday,
which is next Thursday, graduation is Wednesday night.
And the little brother won’t be 18 til the end of next month (last day of June to be exact),
and he gets to graduate first… next Tuesday.
Of course I bought them all Pampered Chef for graduating gifts, but Hey, they are going to be living in Dorms… what better gifts than stuff you can use with a toaster oven (since they can have those and not a microwave… BOYS and their blowing up things… ruins it for everyone ;))
I am proud of them all. H is going in the Army… reserves, while doing the law school thing.
TJ got accepted into 2 very prestigious schools/programs. Just waiting to see which he goes for. Either way he wants to be a pilot. I suggested he try and get into the AF academy. (he shot that one down)
And Joel got a scholarship from his ROTC. He is trying to decide between military and school. (Probably needs to do community college for a year or 2 if he does the school route, cuz he let his grades slip when he had to change schools his Junior year). He is one smart kid (runs in the family)
I told him he should try for the Air Force… but I am bias… the academy is right here in town.
Anyway, as I found out on the spring break run, I can access my computer from my Mom’s house… so that will be cool. (and I am sure I can from my SIL’s too) So, that will work. Probably be updated more from there than it is when I am home
Not sure when I am leaving my Mom’s to head to Texas. I need to route the trip and find how long it will take to drive from Phoenix to Texas. I am figuring it will be about 20 hours or so… I just need to be there by Sunday evening.
I probably won’t update before I get to Phoenix. I promised K we could do 4 corners & The Grand Canyon on our way to Grandma’s. (she wanted me to do it at spring break… I told her there was NO WAY I was doing Wolf Creek Pass in March!!! It will be enough of a question at this time of the year!) The only reason I actually came down here was I was trying to find my passport. I knew right where it was, just had to find the right folder from our trip in January. K doesn’t have one, so I am laminating the cc size birth certificate that we got for her. My SIL said they don’t have a problem crossing over, but my sister went to Mexico a couple of months ago and they really harassed her about the girls. SIL said they are more concerned about SSN, so maybe I will copy her SS card and laminate it to the back of the Birth certificate. I already have her school ID, so we should be covered. (besides, you aren’t suppose to have a passport to walk across until ‘08) I am definitely planning on getting K one… especially with family in Michigan and Texas/Arizona…. all of which are close to borders.
